STORY

Books on Blanche is a small family-owned and operated bookstore in Terrell, Texas. We opened our doors on February 11, 2021. The store is conveniently located off of 34 and 80 in a unique historical building. It was built in 1917 to be a laundromat that serviced the city and still has all of its original windows. Prior to owning, we worked out of a shed in our home selling exclusively online. 

Our goal is to provide quality literature at a low price, which is why our motto is "Knowledge should never be overpriced." We always offer a 10% discount to teachers, veterans, and emergency workers.

All books are priced fairly in order to keep as much literature as possible in the hands of the community and out of landfills.
